Monitoring pace reservations, not just the ocupansi today
Pace shows whether the reservation for a specific date comes in sooner or later than usual. That's where the action gets taken.
Ocupansi today only tells today. For the date to come, what's more useful is pace : how many rooms are reserved than usually at the same time distance.
# # How to read pace
- In accordance with the usual pattern order. Keep the price.
- Fast: reservations faster than usual. Price can be raised early.
- Slow: reservations left behind. Hold the price and push the sale.
# # Action when pace is slow
At Dynamic Pricing by ARBA, when pace was slow at the price of being arrested, it was not raised and not directly slammed. Recommended action:
- push visibility in the OTA;
- offer a package, like a room with breakfast;
- contact corporate guests and offices around;
- prepare a price for the walk@-@ in guests.
# # Check point
Check the pace regularly, for example seven days, three days, and one day before the sleepover date.
The sooner you know the order slows down, the more action options are still available.
