Simple Ways to Set Weekend and Holiday Rates
Three Practical Steps to Align Room Rates with Demand Without Complicated Tools.
Room demand is not the same every day. Adjusting prices according to demand patterns helps the property stay occupied on slow days and remain profitable on busy days.
1. Recognize Weekly Patterns
Review booking data from the past few months. Note which days are usually full and which days are slow.
2. Mark Important Dates on the Calendar
Add national holidays, collective leave, school holiday seasons, and major events in your city to the pricing calendar well in advance.
3. Set Lower and Upper Limits
Determine the minimum price that still covers costs, and the maximum price that remains reasonable for guests. All adjustments are made within these two limits.
Change prices gradually, then observe the results. Small consistent changes are safer than large spikes.
