ASPPERWI | SBR Tourism Expo 2025

SBR Tourism Expo 2025 was organized by the Indonesian Association of Tour Operators (ASPPERWI) on April 23–24, 2025, at the Ballroom of Rumah Makan Botram SBR, Garut Regency, West Java. The event marked the first national tourism expo in Garut to adopt a Business-to-Business (B2B) tabletop format.
Key highlights of the expo included:
Participants: Bringing together 60–100 tourism sellers and vendors from across Indonesia and Malaysia, alongside 300–400 buyers, including travel agencies from Sumatra, Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek), and across Java.
Theme and Objectives: Promoting collaboration to elevate Indonesian tourism to world-class standards, launching tourism promotion programs across 21 cities and regencies, and supporting tourism workforce development throughout 2025.
Government Support: The event was officially opened by Garut Deputy Regent Drg. Putri Karlina, MBA, together with the local Department of Tourism and Culture. The event highlighted a commitment to protecting Garut's tourism ecosystem from illegal levies and thuggery.
Additional Agenda: Beyond business networking and transactions, the event also featured the Regional Conference (Musyawarah Daerah or Musda) of ASPPERWI West Java.
